ELIXIR is a green-certified neighborhood saloon located in the Mission Dolores section of San Francisco, on the corner of 16th Street and Guerrero, where it has served its neighbors since 1858. Pouring fresh and diverse drafts in signature glassware and mixing unique, hand-made cocktails with fresh fruit and herbs distinguishes Elixir from the numerous bars in this vibrant nightlife corridor. It is also the second oldest saloon in the whole city!
Able & Baker Studio was chosen as their Green Business of the Month in April 2010. We were invited to come into the saloon and perform live screen printing on a beer barrel. The bags were also hand sewn out of salvaged children’s clothing.
